After completing her undergraduate studies in Biology and Pre-Medicine at Boston College, Dr. Burkhardt earned her Doctor of Optometry degree and graduated summa cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry.

We use state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies combined with over 19 years of experience in eye care to provide the best eye examination available. A full medical history will be discussed to help target potential problems which may or may not be associated with the eye. Often, patients present without signs or symptoms of medical conditions and become aware based on findings during their eye exam.
Contact Lens Evaluations and Expert Lens Fitting

Dr. Pascarella specializes in fitting contact lenses on some of the most challenging and difficult conditions affecting the eye. What makes a fitting difficult may be an irregular cornea or front surface of the eye. Conditions including keratoconus, irregular astigmatism, post-Lasik, refractive and strabismic amblyopia, and presbyopia can often create suboptimal vision.

Dr. Pascarella is trained in treating and managing ocular conditions including glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, dry eyes and emergency eye care. Glaucoma is known as the "silent thief of vision" because it often goes undetected until later in life. Early diagnosis and close monitoring will help prevent permanent vision loss.
