Sabrina grew up in Kannapolis, North Carolina and has been in Gastonia since 1988, when she married Dr. Artie Cooper. She graduated from A.L. Brown High School and UNC-Charlotte with a B.S. in Accounting and received her CPA Certificate in 1983. A member of First Associated Reformed Church where she enjoys teaching children in Sunday School.

Cooper Family Dentistry has been providing for the dental needs of the citizens of Gastonia, Belmont, Dallas, Bessemer City and Kings Mountain since 1946. Originally founded by Dr. Gene Woody in the Commercial Building on Main Street in downtown Gastonia, it subsequently moved to South Street next to Temple Emmanuel.
