The ADA (American Dental Association) worked with the ANSI (American National Standards Institute) to develop a standard for athletic mouth guards.

A night guard is a dental appliance that prevents damage to your teeth and strain on your jaw while you are sleeping. Though there are over-the-counter night guards available at many drug stores, a custom-made night guard may be easier to sleep with, last longer, and be more effective.

If the problem arises when the office is closed, our answering service will give instructions for contacting Dr. Kollar or the dentist on-call.
