He then went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2004 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, located in Elkins Park, PA. Dr. Hess has done externships throughout the country and has been thoroughly trained in all areas of eye care, including primary eye care, contact lenses, pediatric eye care, ocular pathology, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and low vision.
