During our shutdown, the Tellicafe used this time to not just clean and sanitize our facilities, but also renovate the interior of the restaurant. As mentioned above, we are still offering curbside pick-up for to-go orders upon request, and we will now begin serving dine-in patrons as well. We have always taken sanitization and cleanliness very serious.

We continue to be vigilant sanitizing menus, food prep areas, counters, bathrooms and all other facilities regularly. We have been in business for over 25 years providing exceptional food, drinks, and experiences to people from all over the world! Tellicafe is the result of 25 years and three generations of one family dedicated to serving casual to gourmet meals in a friendly efficient manner.

My name is Richard Leudemann, I am the owner of this independently owned restaurant that offers very diverse menus designed by our Certified Executive Chef from the Culinary Institute of America.The staff here at Tellicafe works together and takes great pride in what we do. In addition to the Tellicafe, I also own The Bears Den.

Had a great lunch. The staff, Susan, was extremely efficient and friendly. Gary Irvin, the executive did a great job. Plus, they were open even with inclimate weather.

We eat at the Tellicafe in Tellico Plains, TN, weekly and we have never had a bad meal. The service is excellent and Rich, the owner, is one of the sweetest, kindest people you’ll ever meet. He sincerely cares that your needs are met. There’s always specials with a great selection.

Fantastic place. Best I've ever had, if you dont include my mommas cooking. If I ever end up that way again you can bet I'm stopping by. Who i think was the owner was real friendly and the staff were very personable. I had the catfish and it was so tender it would tear apart with a touch and melt in your mouth.

New to the area and had heard the place was great, so stopped in for a weeknight dinner. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I could not get over all of the delicious looking options for home cooking on the menu. After lengthy deliberation, I opted for the brisket burger (because hubs had highly recommended the burgers) and he got country fried steak. Both were phenomenal. You don’t find home cooking like this anymore. Outstanding value for the price, sides were delicious, coconut pie to take home was as well. The chef and staff obviously care. The place is a treasure.

Good food for my lunch stop today. I was first in the door but the crowd was picking up. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes and potato soup. Everything was good and filling.

Very cozy, homey feeling. Just stopped for coffee and dessert. Definitely worth stopping. Death By Chocolate and Fried Cheesecake(Xango?)

The menu is HUGE was not expecting the menu to have so many choices. Food was absolutely delicious ( I had the chef salad and the foothills burger I believe was the name) and is now gonna be somewhere we visit every time we are in the area. Great service too.

We had dinner here October 9, 2020; everything was really good and the service couldn't be better. My husband had the prime rib with baked potato and green beans and I had the turkey and dressing with baked sweet potato with cinnamon butter, fried okra and cranberry sauce. The meal came with an assortment of rolls. The entrees were delicious and the portions are large so bring your appetite!
