Roxan is the heart and soul of Bluff View. When I drop off my children, they are greeted by her warm smile and I know they are in great hands. Roxan knows every child, every parent, and is dedicated to preparing each student for Kindergarten. After years of planning and research by our director Roxan Tutelian and her team of early childhood educators, Bluff View Private Preschool opened our doors in 2007.

What Sets Us Apart From The Rest

We are the only private preschool in the Central Valley that uses the same curriculum used by all Clovis and Fresno school districts. Our own onsite Curriculum Director/Reading Specialist has over 40 years of experience in a local school district. We have incorporated American Sign Language and Spanish into our curriculum.
Curriculum

The Houghton Mifflin Curriculum is an in-depth program that provides children with the foundational skills they need to succeed as lifelong learners. This age- appropriate hands-on curriculum is based on scientific research and aligned to California State Kinderdergarten and Common Core Standards. It includes engaging activities, music and manipulatives, encourages independent exploration and hands-on, minds-on learning.
Onsite Reading Specialist

Karyn Robertson collaborates with our teachers providing that the best educational practices and methods are followed. She ensures that a strong foundation is established for our students, so vital for the future success in kindergarten and beyond. In addition to overseeing our teachers, Mrs. Robertson works with each child in small groups to help develop early literacy skills so that our students leave Bluff View as early readers.

We are committed to focus instruction on the California Preschool Learning Foundations to ensure that our individual students are prepared to the best of their ability to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. This preparation will help to develop and support our students as successful, independent learners when they address the rigors common core standards in kindergarten and beyond.
Summer Program
Report
Bluff View's exciting summer program runs mid June through July. We offer a variety of full day and half day schedules, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Please see our office for more information regarding the current year's schedule, themes, and tuition rates. Through such things as art, music, cooking and sports, children will learn letter recognition, math skills, language and vocabulary.
