The doctor was great and took good consideration of my feelings and the nurses made me feel so comfortable. Im very happy with continuing my care at rio.

Reviews about staff being unprofessional are shockingly correct. Doctor is amazing, but you will truly never speak with a nurse. I was called and asked to come in for a test for ovarian cancer. I rushed there by their suggestion, calling to confirm the morning of and taking off of work. When I got there they informed me they didn’t even have the test, after I drove 2 hours to be seen. Told me to just come back even though they were aware of my commuting situation and I spoke with them the morning of to confirm.

This place disappointed me bad. Im from carlsbad and i didn’t wanna see anyone here since almost everyone i know has had issues with the obgyns over here. I’ve heard good stories about rio pecos so i was really confident that i was gonna get excellent care when i got scheduled with Dr collin berry, but i was wrong. i waited there for over 2 hours to be seen for 10 mins when i was getting a pap done , he told me i had an infection and he would send me meds. he asked my preferred pharmacy and said that was all and i left. he never sent my prescription to cvs. i called and called for almost a

If I could put 0 stars I would. I have attempted to schedule a routine Pap smear twice now. Both times, I had to take time off of work and drive 45 minutes each way. On the first visit, I was told I was never placed in the system and they couldn’t squeeze me in. On the second visit, I received a text to confirm my appointment. When I arrived, I was told the doctor was out of town but they never bothered to call me and cancel my appointment. I wrote this review as a heads up to others because I hope no one else ever has to deal with such poor customer service.

This facility is in the Stone Age. There is no online portal to schedule appointments, follow up with test results, or contact your providers.
The owner doctors- Peterson- are overworking their staff to the point they can’t keep doctors on staff. Resulting in 3-5 yes, FIVE hour waiting times for scheduled appointments.
I got my annual pap August 19, 2021- now it’s the end of sept I haven’t heard anything from them. I did get a letter saying my doctor quit.
Now I’m trying to call them and their phone is disconnected!!
I am looking for other ob/gyn facilities.

I've been calling all week from Monday and it is now Thursday I needing a prescription refill they do not answer the phone I can't eat or drink anything without this prescription I left messages on their voice mailbox and it was full by Tuesday and I left messages with the front desk and not once have they try to reach out to me and even the front desk people gave me their direct number so I would stop calling them and they haven't even tried to make it right thinking about switching to new era

The staff there has become very unprofessional. When my wife had them for her first pregnancy, they were amazing. But for some reason they have been going downhill. They have been giving my wife the run around with her glucose test results and when she went in today they hadn’t had the results yet and she did the test about a week ago. The only reason they got to working on the results is because she went in today. They have different staff all the time. What happened to the good office it used to be?

The front desk woman did not acknowledge that I stood there for 4 minutes. Never greeted me or said anything. I sat in the lobby and waited 5 more minutes. Finally at 2 minutes before my appointment I went back to window and asked if she was going to acknowledge me as I had an appointment in 2 minutes. She said she was booting up her computer. Really!? Us women are there for uncofortable reasons as it is! There is no reason to be so unprofessional and rude to just ignore me.

Had to call back about 10 times to make an appointment for my wife. The doctor told her she needed to see a surgeon and instead of recommending one he told her to ""Google it and find one". Absolutely horrible service all around.

My wife had to reschedule an appointment and left a message and was never called back. I called trying to schedule a new appointment for her while she was at work and they completely denied me from making an appointment for my wife. The secretary was rude and claimed that I can’t make the appointment because I am a man and it’s a woman’s clinic. 🤦🏻‍♂️
Update: just looked at other comments and found out they got male doctors in here. but they won’t let a man schedule an appointment for significant others?
