Steve started working in the food service business in 1976 working for Pate Derby and Pate Dawson Companies selling and distributing food to restaurants in Eastern NC and Northeastern SC.
Pulling from those 30 years of experience, Steve and Patty tried to establish a first-class family seafood restaurant featuring "Eastern NC's Calabash Style" Seafood in an atmosphere that is clean and friendly - a place where locals come frequently to enjoy both the great food and the warm Southern Hospitality.
