Capital View Cafe & Catering is a family owned and operated cafe. In October of 1993, the Ramirez and Lucken family would use their many years of restaurant experience to revive a small cafe in need of new owners. The new venue would be named Capital View Cafe because of the spectacular view of our state capital from Smith Avenue.
Our cafe offers Mexican and American breakfast, lunch and catering. Specializing in home-made recipes and sauces made from scratch, our large portions are sure to please. Chicken sauted with pepper, onion and house salsa served over a cheddar cheese omelet and topped with sour cream. Golden hashbrowns layered with scrambled eggs and fried onions and topped with melted cheddar cheese. Served with toast. Chorizo sausage scrambled with eggs and hashbrowns topped with a tortilla and smothered with Southwestern ranchero sauce.
