Positioned in the heart of downtown Asheboro, Prevo Drug was established in 1972 by Jim Prevo. Not too long after that, Stan Haywood joined him, and together they turned Prevo Drug into the go-to pharmacy for the county. Ashley and Ken Duggins bought the store in 2013, and have continued to grow Prevo while still providing excellent customer service and individual attention to each person who walks through the door.

Ashley Duggins, PharmD and owner of Prevo Drug, had a vision of a healthier community here in Randolph County. Being a pharmacist, she knows that medication can be life changing, life-saving, and necessary. However, when founding Prevo Wellness, her focus was on preventative healthcare, education, and lifestyle changes to prevent the need for lifetime, sometimes very costly, medications.

Immunizations are essential to disease prevention, and we are happy to be able to offer a variety of immunizations and vaccines here at Prevo Drug. Many of these are covered under insurance and are available daily, without an appointment. This list does not include vaccinations available for international travel.

Here at Prevo Drug, we want to make your trips as easy and quick as possible, because we know our customers have busy lives. This is why we offer Medication Synchronization (MedSync) to our customers at no extra cost to you. We also offer health coaching to our customers who need or want extra care each month.

At Prevo Drug, we know for some people, it can be hard to get out and run errands. We want to help make your life easier, which is why we offer free local delivery to our customers. Why order online when you can order your prescriptions from us? Our friendly delivery driver, Dean, can drop off your medications, along with any needed over the counter products, with no extra hassle to you.
