Texturz Hair Studio opened in 2003 in Duluth, Georgia, and is in fact the second salon owned by Michelle McCloud-Thompson. Michelle's initial salon in Norcross, Georgia was Shearz Hair Design. Her haircare educational career began in 1984 at Gordon Phillip's beauty school in Philadelphia and in 1991 Michelle moved to Atlanta and opened Shearz Hair Design after working at various other salons.
