My name is Brandon Cruz and I have been a Licensed Funeral Director since 1996. I fully understand a family's need for ease and comfort in what undoubtedly will be one of the most devastating days of their lives. I spent the first 18 years of my career serving my hometown and surrounding areas at a local funeral home.
When it was purchased by a national corporation in 2013, many of the ways I helped families in their time of need unfortunately gave way to increased prices. Working for a corporate-owned funeral home made me realize that if given the opportunity for ownership, I would do more for families at an affordable price.

He leaves behind his life partner of 22 years, Teri Johnson Polston, and sons Alexander Polston of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Mitchell Polston of Avon, Indiana. He is also survived by his mother, . Joseph Regional Medical Center of Mishawaka surrounded by her loving family.

Two recently updated visitation rooms provide comfort and large seating capacities. Each room is equipped with an Ultra 4k 55 television to view your family's custom memorial video tribute.
Traditional Services

A full evening of visitation where family and friends gather to paytheir respect and share memories with the family of the deceased the evening prior to the funeral service. Funeral services may be held at Cruz Family Funeral Home or another location of the family's choice. 3 hours of visitation the evening prior to the service (at the Funeral Home or another location).
Cremation Services

Basic alternative cremation container (to meet the State of Indiana's requirement for cremation). Non refundable merchandise credit $195.00 to be used for an urn, custom "I'll Remember You" jewelry, or basic concrete or polymer urn vault.
Funeral Home service charge (Basic services of the Funeral Director & Staff, transfer of the deceased to the Funeral Home, washing and disinfecting the deceased, transportation to the crematory & use of the utility vehicle).Basic memorial package (Photo frame personalized register book, 100 memorial folders, 12 matching themed laminated obituaries).
