Dr. Daniel Smith is a New Orleans native. He graduated from St. Augustine High School and is an alumnus of Xavier University of Louisiana, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Dr. Smith went on to continue his education at the Illinois College Of Optometry, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Science and a Doctorate in Optometry.

A contact lens prescription can only be determined by the careful observation of the lens on the eye and the eye's response to the lens on follow-up visits.
