Owner of Pillar Acupuncture and a long time Pacific Northwest resident, Kuong Wang DACM, MAcOM, LAc, EAMP, is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese medicine practitioner in both WA and OR. Upon receiving his Master's degree (MAcOM) from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM), Kuong spent two months volunteering in a rural village outside of Kathmandu, Nepal.
During that intensive clinic practice, Kuong provided free medical care to over 600 patients and taught medical and acupuncture related classes to all the interpreters. Some of the common medical issues Kuong treated a variety of musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and shoulder stiffness/pain, back pain, knee pain, and heel pain.
