Helping Paws Veterinary Hospital
We at Helping Paws believe that a healthy life is every pet's right. We feel that a healthy life requires proactive care for our companions. Proactive care entails annual examinations, routine blood work, risk based vaccinations and proper nutrition and lifestyle choices. We are dedicated to educating clients, because we believe that education is the most important tool that we have to lead our companions down a path of health and well-being.

Clients are allowed (and encouraged) to stay with their pet through the entire visit, so they can be a fully informed partner in their pet's wellness. Because you know your pet better than anyone else. This simple fact makes you such an important part of your pet's healthcare team.

Helping Plans
Report
One of the best things you can do for your pet is to keep them healthy. Bringing your pets in for regular examinations and vaccinations is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to ensure their health. Dogs and cats (and other pets) age far faster than people, so significant changes in your pets health can happen in a short time.
Insurance Plans
Report
With all the new procedures and advanced treatments for pet illnesses come greater costs, and pet parents are not always prepared to pay for pet medical care. Approximately $24.5 billion is spent annually on veterinary care in the United States. It's estimated that your pet has a 33 percent chance of becoming injured or ill each year and there is a 92 percent chance that they will need medical care at least once in their lifetime.
The Difference
Report
Pet owners tend to confuse a wellness plan with health insurance, and with good reason. They both help dog owners better afford medical care by allowing them to pay monthly or annually for coverage. However, they provide very different forms of coverage. Insurance usually covers high-cost medical care that can set you back thousands for one condition.
Why Helping Paws
Report
We at Helping Paws realized that trips to the Vet's office can be stressful for you and your pet. That's why every choice we made is based on ensuring there is as little anxiety as possible for you and your pet. To provide exceptional care of patients and clients with focus on wellness and proactive medicine rather than reactive medicine while acknowledging and helping to minimize the financial hardships that quality pet care can create.
