Cathy first took an interest in yoga in the early 1980's while watching Lilias Folan's yoga program on PBS. In the 1990's, Cathy studied several Hatha yoga traditions, including Ashtanga, Kundalini and Anusara yoga. She began teacher trainings in 2003 and studied extensively with several well-known Anusara yoga teachers including Deb Neubauer, Ellen Saltonstall, Mitchel Bleier, and John Friend.

No! The beauty of yoga is that anyone young or old, athletic or not, large or small can practice. Yoga is a personal practice and we encourage each student to move at their own pace without pushing their body. We honor each student's individual ability, and we work with cues and actions (the key being mindfulness of the body!) to help you nd an optimal place for yourself in every pose.
