The mission of Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare System, Inc. is to create an environment where the staff is conscientious, professional, and responsive to the behavioral health needs of the citizens in the service area. This will be done in a manner which is client-oriented, accessible, affordable, and quality driven.
The Agency is dedicated to the excellence, accountability, and advocacy for those citizens most in need of Agency services. Services will be provided when and where needed. The Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare System Board Members represent a cross-section of the community. The Agency's Board of Directors has representation from each of the counties in our service area. Board Members serve as volunteers and are paid no compensation for serving in this capacity.
Same-day Access
Report
SAME DAY ACCESS offers persons in need of services entry into Treatment at the point when it is most needed - without the delay of waiting several weeks for a future scheduled appointment. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis up to the number of slots available for that day. Appointments with the Mental Health Professional are based on the order of arrival.

The right to know how the treatment is supposed to help you, and why the doctor, therapist, or mental health paraprofessional thinks it is best for you. The right to a written plan of treatment that is designed to help you reach any goals you may have set for yourself. The right to receive treatment in a setting that is free from physical abuse, including sexual abuse and physical punishment.
