Our Team
Report
I started out as a kid really wanting to be a vet. I followed my vet all over the place and decided horses were the only thing worth working on. I went to Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and graduated with a BS in Anatomy and Physiology. Along the way I had discovered that I was going to have study pigs, sheep, cows and other animals and decided that maybe medicine for people was a much better idea.
Testimonials
Report
Gary was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease 14 years ago. We exhausted what conventional medicine had to offer during these years: Numerous medicines, DBS: Deep Brain Stimulation (brain surgery)and intensive physical therapy. While some things had been helpful, they all had a downside or hit a limit.
Treatment Modalities
Report
We utilize a wide variety of modalities to treat our patients. Below is an explanation of each modality. None of these modalities are used every single treatment. Instead we prefer to work with our patients to determine which treatment options are suitable for their condition and then collaboratively design a treatment plan based on the patient's goals and comfort level with each treatment.
First Visit
Report
Initial visits generally last from 30 to 90 minutes. Your acupuncturist will take a detailed health history, perform a physical exam, and provide you with your unique treatment plan. During your first appointment, you may be asked a wide range of questions about your symptoms, eating, exercise, sleep habits, emotional states and anything that may offer insight into your health.
