Martial arts are much more than self defense. Through martial arts, you learn about not only the art, but yourself, your life, and the world. You learn patience, persistence, respect, control, and more. Seishindo means, true heart way. It is the core of Seishindo, to help teach you to be your truest self.
Through positive encouragement we develop and improve students confidence and independence. With a positive mindset students feel they can do anything. Martial arts is an incredible way to see an example and practice respect. From bowing upon entering the dojo, to shaking your fellow students hand at the end of every class, respect is a moral highly valued at Seishindo.

The curriculum for preschool age children has similar focuses, however, the focus is more on attention and fun. Lessons are mostly individual for the first few months to a year, then students transfer to either a mix of private lessons and group or only group. There are exceptions based on individual differences.
