Target optical in capital plaza is a great place to go get your eye exam just check and make sure they take your insurance. The doctor and her assistant treated me well and got me in and out fast . I will recommend family and friends to them .

Ok, I grabbed an open slot this afternoon and had a wonderful experience. This is my new eye doctor, period. She is smart, helpful and very detailed in her examination. Wonderful manner with patients and this is NOT one of those cattle call clinics that just roll you thru. A+

The reviews totally fooled me! First the place is tiny so even two patients being there at the same time is clunky and awkward. Then theres Dr. Julie who was condescending more than a few times at different points in the exam. I also didnt feel comfortable at how much both her and the receptionist kept asking me if I wanted the retinal exam which would cost $39 more. Last thing! They dont tell you this but dilation is included in the eye exam maybe everyone knows this but me. Something to keep in mind when youre getting ready for your eye exam.

Just felt really off when i asked about how to put in contacts correctly and was met with how long have you been wearing contacts for? Obviously not long or regularly enough to put them in correctly. Every time i asked a question the doctor seemed annoyed. Also they said that my prescription didnt change, while when i came in i let her know that im having trouble seeing far enough to read street signs. Will not be returning this year.

Went in for an exam today, the staff and Dr were amazing. Got my prescription printed and they gave me my pd so I could order glasses online. The office was clean and following covid guidelines. Highly recommended.

Great experience!! Dr. Gorn and her assistant were extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. No wait time. Covid compliant, their efforts to protect their patients is outstanding. Dr Gorn took her time to explain all details throughout my exam. 100% recommend.

After not having my eyes checked in a while, I was fearful of the results and the process. Dr. Julie was a total dream. such a kind doctor who gave me the truth, but in a way that didnt chastise me. (Although I deserved it) I will definitely be vigilant in keeping my prescription up to date in the future. she was incredibly patient and informative about the contacts I was used to. she gave me options on brands that were a higher quality which was important to me and the health of my eyes moving forward. I have already recommended her to my mother and a couple friends.
