Adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gi
Report
If you've ever watched an MMA fight, you've likely seen some Jiu Jitsu. Jiu Jitsu is an essential component of Mixed Martial Arts, and also, an incredibly effective form of self-defense and exercise. In our Fundamentals classes, we start with self-defense, and explore how those self-defense principals can translate to sport Jiu Jitsu.
Judo
Report
We currently offer two Judo classes each week, taught by Judo Black Belt Alex Lahman. The Wednesday class focusses on Judo Fundamentals - we generally spend some time on Uchi Komis and learn a new throw or technique. The Friday class is more advanced with plenty of Uchi Komis and opportunities for Randori (that said, beginners are still welcome)!
No Gi and Wrestling
Report
If you come to this class regularly, you're guaranteed to hone in on a technique over the course of several months and see a progression in your ability to use the technique in live roles. You're also guaranteed to get hard roles at the end of class, if you want them. If you have wrestling shoes, you're encouraged to wear them in class!
