Safety America Karate

Robert Gifford has been involved in the Martial Arts since 1969. He began his studies with Sensei Michael Campos in Johnstown, New York and was promoted to First Degree Black Belt (Shodan) by Sensei Campos in 1975. In 1975, Sensei Gifford established schools in Potsdam, Ogdenburg and Massena, NY. In 1980, he established the Houston ZDK and in 1994, he founded Safety America Martial Arts Center in Sugar Land, TX.

We know that your child's scholastic success is very important to you. It's important to us, too. Many parents have credited karate to helping their children succeed in school. There are countless stories reporting significant improvement in a child's grade, learning, comprehension, attentiveness, athletics, general behavior and social skills.

Q: How is Safety America Karate's teaching philosophy different from other martial arts schools?. A: We focus on teaching life lessons through the principles of karate. Honor, loyalty, leadership, self-control, humility, courtesy, perseverance, spirit, and sportsmanship are the cornerstones of our teaching philosophy.

Activities include: indoor zip-line, rock wall, rope swing, Ninja Warrior Course, Double Warped Wall, Parkour Course, Jedi Swords, pizza, floor games and more! Then hit submit and see step 2. We have plenty of fun kids activities planned such as, zip-line, ninja course, warped wall, rock wall, and many other games.

Our birthday parties last an hour and a half long. The first hour is in the gym where participants will experience our indoor zip-line, ninja warrior course and more! The last 30-minutes will be in our party room where tables and chair will be set-up for party goers to enjoy food/drinks, desserts and presents.
