Dr. Lawrence Maher, III, grew up in La Porte, Texas. He graduated from La Porte High School in 1983. He began his college career at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, while running cross country for the college. Dr. Lawrence completed his undergraduate education with a degree in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station.
