Jay Wisnicki, MD, FAAO, FACS, FAAP, FNYAM grew up in New York and studied computers and electrical engineering in college, then went to medical school and specialized in ophthalmology. He is a world- renowned strabismus surgeon, well published, and lectures nationally and internationally. He is the former Chairman of the Beth Israel Ophthalmology Department, but still serves as a clinical professor of Ophthalmology & Pediatrics at Mt. Sinai.

Dr. Luisa Prieto is a diligent optometrist currently serving the East Harlem community. She concentrates on comprehensive eye care of patients' visual needs and is committed to ensuring proper eye health and good vision for the community.

Dr. Prieto concentrates on the treatment and management of various ocular diseases which include but are not limited to diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, neurological disorders and various other diseases.She has presented various ocular disease posters at Academy of Optometry meetings.
