The key to teaching our children to love God is stated simply and clearly in Deuteronomy 6:5-7. If we want our children to follow God, we must make God a part of our children's everyday experiences. We must teach them diligently to see God in all aspects of their life. We, as parents and educators, have an awesome responsibility to "train our children in the way they should go."

The carpenter shop is by far the best thing we've ever done for our boys early education! The staff, teachers, and fellow parents are some of the sweetest people I've ever known. I visited other schools before I came upon TCS - it's the one that's most like an actual school. The hallways are fun, the classes are each unique and you can tell the teachers put a lot of love into their classrooms.

At The Carpenter's Shop we begin with a nurturing environment that keeps babies warm, safe and happy. Babies are encouraged to explore God's wonderful world around them and are guided to interact with others through singing, story time, art and exercise. Activities are introduced that stimulate brain development, prepare them for talking, help them to gain the motor skills they will need in the coming years.
Toddlers

A toddler's life is marked by rapid growth in language acquisition, self-sufficiency and social skills. Strong emphasis is placed on exploring God's wonderful world and learning to play together. Toddlers will begin to learn and understand socially appropriate behavior. Our unique program is designed to maximize each child's spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, creative and emotional growth.
Twos

A balanced learning curriculum is used to create a blend of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities. Our two year old program combines a multitude of exciting activities every day that fosters a love of learning and a positive self-image in our students. The Christian based A Beka curriculum is followed along with The Creative Pre-K Curriculum.
