Big Blue Smokehouse was started by two couples who combined their friendship and love of barbecue. The business initially consisted of catering and dishing up deliciousness at festivals; in 2012, the restaurant was established. With local owners, we know what people in the area want when it comes to their steak and barbecue, and we're ready to serve it up!

The Big Blue Smokehouse team knows that law enforcement officials and military veterans do great work serving our country. As a small token of our appreciation, we're happy to provide any veteran or member of law enforcement with a 20% discount on his or her bill. And because we want to welcome those visiting the area, all guests of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel will receive a 10% discount on their order.

Big Blue Smokehouse is the place to go in eastern Kentucky for excellent barbecue, great steak and much more. In addition, we offer a full line of catering services - and as we have an ABC license, we can legally bring alcohol to your event. Our restaurant is open seven days a week, and we have a regular Happy Hour from 4pm to 7pm.
