Founded in 1916, Wolfforth, Texas was named after George Wolffarth, early Lubbock County pioneer. Once a railroad town, Wolfforth is now home to more than 5,000 residents. Wolfforth is served by the Frenship Independent School District, which includes four schools in Wolfforth-Bennett Elementary School, Frenship Middle School, Frenship 9th Grade Center, and Frenship High School.
