Doctor Joe Barbosa is a wonderful veterinarian! He cares about his patients and clients. My cat was neutered, vaccinated and microchipped at the Animal Hospital of Hallandale. After the visit we got follow up call from caring staff. At the office visit Dr Barbosa also went over the diet plan and recommended flea and tick prevention and answered all my questions. Thanks to him my kitty is healthy and happy and so am I! I recommend this clinic to all my friends who have cats, dogs, rabbits and birds. Best place with affordable prices!

Dr. Barbosa's wife who runs that office did not want to answer my phone calls and avoided me after the fact. When I finally did get her on the phone I started to describe what happened and she simply hung up on me. No matter how many times I called back she she saw my name on the caller ID and simply did not pick up the phone. I have been taking my cat to the animal hospital for over two years, and I have never experienced such horrific service like I did this past week. The technician and the vet working that day, were extremely aggressive with my cat. They grabbed him by the neck nearly

My daughter was so worried about taking her dog to the vet because he has a significant heart issue. The entire staff of Hallandale Animal Hospital was professional, kind, and personable. Dr. Barbosa clearly enjoys his job, loves animals, and puts patients and their humans at ease. It's such a relief to walk out of a Dr's office feeling confident you received high quality care from a Dr.and his staff.
