John and Martha Peterson opened Precision Auto Body & Painting in 1987. In the beginning, it was just the two of them-John did the repairs and Martha handled the paperwork. In their first month they repaired 5 cars. Today, Precision Auto Body is the premier collision repair facility in Santa Barbara County, with over 30 employees at 3 repair centers.

We can also arrange a rental car for you so that your life isn't on hold while your vehicle is in the shop. We've negotiated a great rate with a major rental car provider for our customers.

Estimates are free and you do not need an appointment. Our hours for providing estimates are Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm, and you can come by whenever is convenient for you. The process takes about 15 minutes. We'll take photos of your vehicle, obtain your contact and insurance information, and provide you with a printed estimate.
