Rental Application Requirements
Report
Each applicant must submit copies of their last 3 pay stubs along with a copy of your drivers license. If the applicant is starting a new job, applicant must submit an offer letter, on company letter head, verifying job title, start date, salary and name of supervisor. If there are no credit references, or the applicant has been employed less than 6 months, the owner of the property may require a co-signer.
Section 8
Report
The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is a way New Castle County can help you with rental costs. It may help you afford a better place to live, or if you like where you are living now and your unit can pass inspection, it may help you pay for your rent. Either way, the Housing Assistance Program pays the landlord part of your monthly rent.
