Led by retired MMA fighter Jared "The Jaguar" Chaffee, Carlson Gracie Houston is the only official Carlson Gracie school in the Houston area. We are very honored to be one of only three of the Carlson Gracie teams in Texas. We live local and buy local, and have a strong connection to the Houston area, and to personal health.
Jared Chaffee is 1st degree black belt under Chad Robichaux and Carlson Gracie Jr., and has been training in mixed martial arts and jiu jitsu since 2007. Jared is registered with IBJJF, has a passion for the sport and is dedicated to the development and growth of all students.

Training in Jiu-Jitsu involves close personal contact. Please be sure your GI, Shorts, Rash Guard, & Training Gear are clean, free of foul odors, & in good condition for every class. Be aware of your personal hygiene. Be sure your feet are clean as well. Make sure that your fingernails & toenails are properly rimmed, and your hair (if long) is pulled back & secured.
