WholeSelf Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine
At WholeSelf Acupuncture Scottsdale, we believe that good health involves the well-being of all aspects of one's self - the body, mind and spirit working in dynamic balance. In traditional Chinese medicine, when one or more parts of yourself is out of balance, the free flow of qi (vital energy) is impaired.

Imbalance results in disharmony or disease. Through the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbs, WholeSelf seeks to restore your body's natural balance, promote self-healing and prevent future disharmony. WholeSelf Acupuncture Scottsdale uses a natural, wholesome approach that treats you, not the disease, to optimize health.

About Wholeself
Report
I consider the primary complaint, manifestations, underlying causes and other seemingly unrelated symptoms to develop an individualized treatment plan that treats the total you. I employ a medicine that is natural, safe and designed to work alone or in combination with Western medicine. My goal is to not just relieve symptoms and restore balance, but also to educate and assist you in maintaining your optimal whole self.
Chinese and Western Medicine
Report
We are complex organisms, connected internally and to the outside world in ways we do not yet fully understand. Treating one part, one system or one aspect of ourselves does not consider the whole and how one affects the other. Western medicine tends to treat isolated symptoms, using drugs or interventions that solve one problem, often at the expense of another.
Acupuncture
Report
Acupuncture is among the oldest healing practices in the world. Very fine needles are inserted into acupuncture points to stimulate the body's natural healing process. Acupoints are small energy vortexes that are located along 14 systematic pathways (channels) where the qi (vital energy) travels. They can also be found at "ashi" (pronounced ah-shir) or tender areas, as well as at muscle trigger or motor points.
