Laparoscopic Assisted Gastropexy lag
Report
Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV), or bloat, occurs when the stomach fills with gas and fluid and twists on itself, obstructing blood flow to the stomach and abdominal organs. If untreated it rapidly progresses to shock and death. Fortunately, this syndrome is preventable with a gastropexy procedure commonly referred to as "stomach tacking."
