BEWARE, they will not give you your security deposit back. They demand a $500 security deposit with application fee. They state that the application fee will not be refunded but they also will not refund the security deposit if you don't cancel within 24 hours. The purpose of a security deposit is to cover damages or missed rent when you rent an apartment, they are withholding it without having even rented an apartment. I am sure if this is how they treat applications, if you decide to do business with them it can only go downhill from there. Good luck and find another rental company.

I have never lived in one of these apartments but I am a Cleveland native and want to help students who are looking for housing out. You can find a much better deal in little Italy or Coventry. Ive noticed that most of the students who rent these apartments are not from the Cleveland area (a lot of them are international students); in other words, theyre not familiar with the area. Uptown and Euclid ave can be very dangerous place to live. You can find a much nicer place for a way better price by renting in little Italy and Coventry. More expensive doesnt always mean better.

Uptown apartments is an excellent place to live in and call it home. The management is very responsive, the staff friendly and the decor and cleanliness extremely well maintained. No pests at all - ever! The staff are like family and will come to your rescue when you need it. We lived there for 4-5 yrs and enjoyed every minute of it. I would highly recommend this complex if someone wants to stay close to the hospital (UH or Cleveland Clinic or the VA) or be in the center of the CWRU campus.

This place deserves zero stars and needs to be shut down. Management are a bunch of thieves. Do yourself a favor and rent in another place. Although the application fee of $65 is non-refundable, they will make you pay another $500 which will supposedly go towards your security deposit. If you never even lived there and ask for the amount to be… refunded (just like what their application says you can do), they will still not refund you. One of the leasing office personnel named Carrie is very unprofessional and will lie just to get you to sign up for their crappy apartments. The apartments

Beware of fake reviews on this property (i.e. "Mr Awesome" who reviewed two different buildings at the same time, obviously an account created by the developer/management/whoever has interests in the property).
