Dr. Kevin Patel and his wife, Dr. Sheena Neil, are the new practicing owners of Dogwood Family Dental. It has been a great transition with wonderful staff and patients. Drs. Patel and Neil want to thank everyone for welcoming them so warmly. It was the doctors' dream to return to Moore County after residency to serve as family dentists and create a smooth, relaxing environment that patients can come and feel cared for.

Sandra is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina having grown up an army brat and loves the Sandhills. She achieved her Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1988. Sandra is very special to the practice and to her patients. She genuinely enjoys her job and it shows with the quality of time spent with each and every patient.

Our office is located at 908 N. Sandhills Blvd in Aberdeen, NC in a great location right off of US Highway 1. Dr. Patel and his team are in the middle of renovating the office making it more environmentally efficient as well as updating the esthetics! Dogwood Family Dental stays up-to-date on dental procedures and technology with electronic health records and digital x-rays making our office and patient information accurate and secure.

This place is amazing! I came here after a way too long hiatus between cleanings and a pretty big fear of going to the dentist, and they handled both very well. Everyone is incredibly friendly and they explain what they are doing step-by-step. I am very happy to have finally found such an awesome dentist!
Regular Exam & Cleanings

Your regular exam will take about 60 minutes. Each regular exam includes a detailed teeth cleaning, in which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth's surface. Dogwood Family Dental loves to see patients of all ages and in fact the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends thats a child should have their first dental visit before their first birthday.
Composite Fillings
Report
A composite (tooth-colored) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be removed and then filled with a composite filling. There are many types of filling materials available, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.
