Spirit Stitches was started by Carrie Wells back in 2004 under the name Texas Embroidery Shop. An employment move brought them to the small community of Melissa, Texas in 2006. Starting late 2015 more change happened as the construction of a new shop was started. This new workshop on the couples acreage moved them to the border of Fannin and Collin counties were we continue to grow and service clients.

We started with a single embroidery machine, in my garage office in the very first home we ever owned. Originally named Texas Embroidery Shop, we had a good clientele in that mini shop, some small but steady growth in the mid-2000s. A move in 2006 brought us to a new county in a new community over 60 miles away from our first home.
