Update #3: The facilities manager and his team are doing a outstanding job of keeping thing working and clean. The company recently added a covered dumpster area so the parking lot looks less like a dump.
Still issues with the building due to it's age but when a issue pops up it is taken care of and the vendors that do have to work are much better companies than before. Hopefully the positive trends continue.
Update #2: the new management has been very helpful on several occasions so plus one star for them.

The pool is always dirty. You can't clean it yourself. Because the skimmer is broken. Also the pool is falling apart. This has Always been like this. I have lived here for over a year. It's not getting any better. They even leave the plants die that are in the pool area. I really don't like it here it's a very dirty place to live. Nothing gets fixed. Oct 24,2021 up date. Nothing at the pool was fixed. They did say they ordered a new pool skimmer but to date no new pool skimmer. They lie about everything. There was a big water leak in my building for about 2 or 3 months. My water bill doubled this

You pay a lot of money for a subpar interior. The paint on the walls peels off in some areas. My shower faucet consistently leaks, and has since I have moved in. Half of the electrical outlets do not work. The vanity lights are rusted. I had to fix the toilet when I moved in because it kept over flowing. You'll pay more money for this company to keep the pools clean, instead of updating the interior.

1000 kudos to Jorge, MaryAnn and team. They are so friendly and fixed the clogged drain (first floor) in record time. :)
Well, I must have plumbing gremlins this week as I had to request help again this time a stuck shower faucet. Now there's so much going on with resurfacing part of the parking area, I hated to bug anyone. But I was visited by a friendly and competent Jose who with a little help from Jorge, they quickly resolved the root cause of the problem and replaced with a beautiful new faucet. Thanks guys. I will truly enjoy my next shower 🚿🙂.

Do you like living in a dirty area with no parking, dog crap everywhere, homeless people breaking into your cars, loud neighbors, and stacks of dirty old furniture surrounding the trash cans that no one ever takes away?

Apply to live here.

Worst year of my life.

They sell you on the photos and the tour of the front half of the complex.

The rear area looks like a post apocalyptic dump.

Issues with neighbors were only met with half assed apologies and no follow through.

I gladly moved to a new complex while paying more than $200/mo extra just to get away from this place.

All carpet through apartments hardly and street parking gym is unavailable and kitchens are very tiny and old school appliances and cabinets I liked how clean the outside was nice pool and they allow big dogs however for 1750 in a one bedroom I would think the place would be more renovated the walls were very dull gave me physc ward vibes even the elevator looked like it was on the verge of breaking.

Don't move here, just save yourself the heartache man. Since we've been here our cars have been broken into four times, the catalytic converter was stolen from under my car, my husband's bike was stolen from our balcony that is nine feet off the ground. Mail and packages are frequently stolen. Management does nothing about consistent noise complaints. Just don't. We've lost over $2,000 in less than a year because of the theft. It's pretty heart breaking. Just move somewhere else.

Wouldn't reccomend. People in the office hardly ever answer the phone, always late coming into the office, hardly and parking, apartments seem like they're falling apart. Laundry room is disgusting and people tend to steal your clothes which the office does nothing to help or prevent. Half of the utilities in the apartment do not work or don't work very well. Very unprofessional when you're having an issue. There are far better places to live than in these apartments

Lived at Prado for a year. It looked promising in the beginning. Beautiful courtyards and decent pools. As time passed, I soon realize more and more problems with this place. For someone who is looking into an apartment, I'm telling you, it's all a facade. They try to make the outside look pretty with gardeners coming twice a week with their annoyingly loud leaf blowers and lawnmowers that echo in the courtyards. Forget getting a car wash! The road in the complex is unfinished and feels more like a dirt road. So once the gardeners come and leaf blow 4 pieces of leaves instead of picking

I've visited this property last Monday and it was very clean and the person that I asked questions her name was Cyndie Schubert. She was a very nice lady she explained to me that she just did the cleaning but she answered questions that I had. And if I decided to rent from this property I would do so basically because of the information that I was given by her.

She answered questions I had about the cleanliness of the property. And information about the pools she was very friendly outgoing and gave the property a very good review for me.

Cyndie went above and beyond her job of her job by

I've lived here for about 3 years and I have to say things have only gotten better and better. The management and maintenance teams make themselves available and care to help w/ anything you need ASAP. Particularly the maintenance man Jorge and the others. They are always around the apartments working on something. They do there best to communicate and try to move swiftly through repairs. Thank you to the team at Prado Apartments for all you do!

I moved here about august 2017 and while the apartment is very convenient by being close to the freeway, it's management is HORRIBLE.

Multiple times throughout my two years of staying there, I often got letters from management saying that I did not pay my rent on time, which I am very strict about, and when I call them they always get it mixed up with another people ok the apartment.

Now that my lease is ending, the apartment failed to give me a one month notice when my lease is about to end and now I am frantic to look for a storage place and when to get my stuff out of the apartment

Absolute worst complex I have ever lived at.
CONS:
-TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PARKING!
-Dirty laundry rooms
-Elevators are old and they slam which is terrifying
-Hallways always smelled like sewage and they were never cleaned
-water was shut off 24/7 for maintenance
-had a neighbor harassing us & we told the office but she kept doing it
-they claim to have a ramp where cars have to move every 72 hours but there were broke down cars sitting there for MONTHS.
-dumpsters are at every entrance of elevators... so prepare to walk through a swarm of bugs everyday
-overall up-keep was sad
-central AC was

I'm honestly shocked at the number of horrendous reviews here because they don't reflect our experience AT ALL. We've been living here for 7 months, and we haven't encountered any serious issues. We live in building 6306, and there are no piles of trash, urine in the hallways, or other filth to deal with. We can't hear anything from our neighbors except occasional heavy footsteps upstairs and a dog downstairs that's sometimes ignored by its owners. The machines in the laundry room have never been down, and we are always able to get in to do our laundry without a problem or long wait. Any time we

Was going apartment searching and came across this complex.

At the arrival of the appointment I was greeted by friendly staff! (I forgot her name but she her Positivity and bubbilyness made my day) I was toured around the Complex which was beautiful! I liked the layout and how the sun hit the complex. Nice, pool. Nice grass. Everything pleasing to look at and billiards, laundry, and gym easily accessible.

I honestly would live here if my roommates and I would agree!

I had to unfortunately let them know that I would not be going to be moving in. However, when I called the office, I was helped

I lived at Prado a month shy of a year and I honestly have nothing good to say about it. The maintenance team will always be the only good thing at Prado. But as nice as maybe 2 people in the office were, their kind words don't solve physical issues we had with our apartment. Something was always broken, falling apart or ignored. I also paid a $700 deposit and received $90 of it back. I was there less than a year and nothing was broken or ripped. I should have known, seeing as they are part of a company called COnAm. Con, for sure.

Prado does NOT care about your noise complaints. I had the

I wanna give 5 stars for the super awesome rep Karina who gave us a tour of the place today! She was friendly and very helpful and answered any questions we had.
I like the layout of the community because it's very open, spacious and has a lot of green grass and trees. However, once inside the building it felt like a maze. The apartments themselves we pretty nice but outdated. What attracted me was the open layout, lighting and central AC but the cabinets and appliances were old and some rusty. Overall not a bad price for the apartments especially because many of them have good views from

I lived here from Feb18- Oct19. It was decent a experience. Yes water outage is frequent but they are brief 2-3hrs and you are notified days in advance. There isn't really any guess parking but that's just the nature of SD. Leasing office was always prompt on fixing matters. I can only give 4 stars because it is a bit overpriced for the design and age of the apartment. However I would rent again given a more adjusted rent.

This is lovely apartment in Mission Valley. I lived here for 3 years and I really love this place. The staffs of the office are helpful and very friendly. All lady in the office alway smile when you come to ask something or need a help. They also give you more information and guide you way to solve a problem. Moreover, the workers who repair something in your room whenever you need. I remembered the sink in our kitchen had some problems, we called them around 11pm and then they sent a guy come to fix it quickly.

Prado is NOT a good place to live. We were not told when we moved in that smoking was allowed all throughout the complex, and we moved in with a chain smoker living below us. We couldn't open our windows EVER because she was literally smoking every hour of the day/night that she was home. The laundry rooms were horrid, machines broken all of the time and the office wont do anything about it because you have to call the laundry company that takes forever to fix their machines.
Any type of issue that you had, required about 5 follow up calls to the leasing office because good luck getting them to

Knocking off a star. I've been here for 3 years now, which gives me enough perspective to be a bit more critical. Three major issues:

1. The leasing office is now only open from 10:30AM to 6:00PM. This is really inconsiderate to people who work 9-5 (the majority of corporate employees), and the hours have been progressively getting shorter year after year.

2. As of June 1st, the aforementioned leasing office will no longer receive residents packages. AKA they will likely be stolen, end up missing, or not get delivered period.

3. The ceiling above my apartment in my hallway was leaking

I have admired the tenacity of the friendly staff of Jennifer, Arlene and even Manny the maintenance guy who will come fast to solve any issues with plumbing or the electric cooker. For the money paid and the location, I believe it is a good deal I wish all the complainers will redirect their energy in getting a petition to renovate the complex directed at CONAM which owns the property instead of slamming the management who are

My husband and I lived in this apartment for over a year. I really didn't see the apartment until I put my stuff & moved in. I trust his judgement that the apartment that he picked will be nice, so I thought! Well, since living here there's always a notice of water shut off at 10 am till 2 or 3 pm. The apartment unit really needs upgrade, the kitchen counter, near the faucet the water will always flow the excess to the left whenever I'm washing my dishes. I'd never used the dishwasher 'coz it looks moldy and yucky inside. The stove is not set up evenly, it's slant to one side, hard to cook with
