Dentistry for me extends far beyond treating teeth - it involves me working and communicating with people and helping improve their lives. I have followed this 'holistic' philosophy since graduating from The National University in my hometown of Cordoba, Argentina, in 1991.
After graduating dental school, I quickly realized the boundaries that existed between doctors and patients and how it was detrimental to promoting health, and this is why I took the right steps to remove any barriers in communication and focused my efforts on building strong client-based relationships.

Dr. Claudia Cortadi is both kind & heart-centered as well as extremely knowledgeable, creative, up-to-date and efficient in addressing dental issues. She is the first dentist I have found who has been able to resolve a dental issue no one else had been able to resolve--for decades. I have had two appointments with Dr. Nice, and both have been excellent in every way. I felt comfortable and that I was in good hands. The whole team was professional, caring, and friendly. Dr cordati is very knowledgeable and up on the latest holistic concerns about dental materials and sensitivities. She diagnosed and is treating something the prior dentist missed!

I'm a very discerning dental patient. My wife would say picky. I've been through a number of dentists and can say my first visit with Dr. Cortadi and staff went beyond any previous experience. Thorough, professional, and patient. They spent a good deal of time and resources to show me the condition of my teeth and how to keep them going as long as I do. Nobody likes going to the dentist. Especially when it's not just an in-and-out cleaning. I had to go in for a filling and a deep cleaning today. Everyone at this office is kind and personable. Dr. Cortadi is fantastic at what she does and thorough in explaining what she is doing. Her staff was involved and helpful throughout the process. Michelle, the hygienist is equally as amazing. This dental office does okay dental work but the front staffs they need lessons in how to interact with the public (especially people with high IQ). They are always too full of themselves talking about planning their next vacation, getting their hair and nails done monthly, paying too much for a gym membership, going to the gym getting in shape because they feel overweight?!. Honestly, this is the very best dental offices and dental services that I have ever experienced throughout my whole life. I must say that every detail is perfect and couldn't be better. I have been sticking with this office no matter my insurance or no matter their location. They used to be in Solana Beach a long time ago. I was less than 5 minutes drive. Now I am downtown and they moved to Encinitas and I will make the drive. It's worth it. Honestly I hate going to the dentist, I have switched dentists countless times due to various reasons. Now that I have found Ablantis Dental I do not plan to ever switch my dentist again. Dr. Cortadi and her team are outstanding. I just saw her today for a filling which was an unexpectedly soothing and calming event. The whole experience took only 25 minutes and was completely painless. She even had me laughing most of the time. And I'm terrified of needles! Claudia and her staff are the best. She has designed numerous crowns and veneers for me, and recently provided me with a hydrogen peroxide based gel treatment for deep pockets. I was able to reduce all but a few 4 and 5's to 1,2, and 3's by using the gel that they recommended in my custom trays every day for 15 minutes. I was at this dental office awhile back after I received numerous emails offering a good package for cleaning/x-rays etc., almost on a daily basis. After awhile I finally called and made an appointment.
Twice I received a call that I had to change my appointment do to the dental hygienist not being available, twice. I told the lady that called me that if they were to cancel again, I wasn't going to go, I was tired of them keep cancelling me, never once an apology or an explanation that made any since as to why the cancellations were happening. I have been a client of Dr. Cortadi for close to a year now. I visited her office for the first time with what I would consider to be a mouth full of problems. She took great care to make sure that we not only fixed the issues but also addressed what was causing them. I have since returned for multiple treatments and would recommend her and her staff to family and friends.
This past week I went in for a routine teeth cleaning and checkup and experienced the most thorough and enjoyable service from a fantastic dental assistant (I am terrible with names but thank you!).

Dr. Cortadi and her staff exceeded my expectations! They were very professional, accommodating, organized and overall a really nice group of people. It was my first visit to Dr. Cortadi and it was an emergency since I had broken a molar. Not only is the dentist rude but she over charged me $200+. I went to her for a problem with my gums and she charged me for work she never did. When I looked the proceedure up and called to say this was not part of the treatment she returned my money but never said a word.
