Originally from Richardson, Texas, Dr. Russell attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. After 10 years of working in the marketing industry, she decided to follow in her grandmother's footsteps and become an acupuncturist.

She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Texas Health and Science University, and earned her Doctorate at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a focus on diabetes prevention and management.Dr. Russell enjoys seeing a broad spectrum of patient ailments, but specializes in pain, fertility, and maternal care.

Pearl Acupuncture uses a combination of acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, herbs, and other modalities to help with chronic pain relief, women's fertility, and other common ailments. We are proud to offer telehealth services for $45. These 30 minute sessions are available to book online, and offer dietary, lifestyle and herbal consultation, as well as a few acupressure points.

Your first acupuncture treatment should take about an hour and a half. Please try to arrive early to fill out intake forms. Your appointment will include 15-20 minutes to address the reason for your visit and allow for any questions. You will then experience a full acupuncture treatment. At the end of the treatment, we will explain your treatment plan, including any herbs that are recommended.
