Craig McKenzie, the owner, likes people to know that Jim's Auto Center is a family business. His wife Laura assists in the shop sometimes. His son Zachary used to work there, too. Now there are two grandsons ages 8 and 1 coming up to learn the trade. Craig McKenzie doesn't just work on cars, he races them too.
He's been racing for over 35 years. Every other weekend you might find him at the race track: National Trail Raceway, Summit Motor Sports Park, Dragway 42, Kil-Kare Speedway, Pacemakers Dragway. When he's not racing, he's riding. He and his red Harley-Davidson motorcycle go anywhere there are curves - and no freeways -especially eastern Ohio, in the mountainous, curvy areas.
