During those 58+ years I attended Lamar University receiving 2 bachelor degrees. I have over 30 years experience in the residential and commercial building industry, along with home and commercial re-modeling.

This is the standard home inspection and makes ups the majority of all home inspections. An inspector must follow a minimum standards of practice set forth by the Texas Real Estate Commission. My inspections always go beyond these minimum standards to give my customers the best inspection for their money.

A home inspection may identify the need for major repairs or builder oversights. While it is not required that you be present for the inspection, it is highly recommended.

During the home inspection process, the home inspector will be opening and operating almost everthing in the house. Make sure that all utilities are on: water, electric and the gas with pilot lights on. Ensure that all light fixtures have working bulbs. 4. Move all items from around access panels including: electric panels, plumbing access panels and the crawlspace access.
