Of course, all his findings ended up in his comprehensive, detailed, and image-filled report. Prior to hiring Chip, I researched the home inspectors servicing our area and of the three finalists, I thought Chip had the best credentials and would be the best inspector for the job. Missed many items I later found. Some were expected, but some were not. Claimed he inspected the attic, but I later found two separate live electrical wires with ends exposed on top of the insulation and in the rafters. I understand not everything can be found, but he focused on pointing out the basics that don't matter in lieu of the important safety issues.
I also highly recommend pulling permits for the house you plan on purchasing. That can give you a huge upper hand.

I have used INHI to inspect several of my personal homes. Chip is thorough and professional. He can explain issues without sounding major alarm bells and helps me understand the true issues from the common maintenance requirements. He is always willing to come back and be sure things are done correctly. He is a great resource and I recommend him often!
