We combine Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Mental Health Services to treat individuals with complex diagnosis in the Asheville area. Allison, or "Al" as she prefers to be called by her patients, has a Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy with a concentration in Neurology from the University of Maryland. Allison is certified in both Neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) and LSVT BIG, which aids in the treatment of people affected by Parkinson's Disease, helping to train them to use their bodies more effectively.

Individuals who have experienced a stroke can face a multitude of challenges in the weeks, months and even years after the incident. The goal in rehabilitation after a stroke is to help the individual regain cognitive and physical function. Physical therapy provides Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) for muscle recruitment during activities, improving gross motor skills and increasing strength to stabilize joints.
