Dr. Jin Ahn graduated from the Southern Illinois University of Dentistry with top honors in 1993. A few years later, he moved to the Oregon Coast with his family and opened up his first practice right here in Tillamook County, Tillamook Family Dentistry. More than a decade later, he now has two practices that have given him the opportunity to gather experience in the surrounding areas.

Dr. Ahn is an AWFUL dentist, lacking bedside manners, to say the least, skating on the edge of plain rudeness.
I came in and tried to share pleasantries, such as "hello, how are you doing today", and he totally blew me off. He continued on, to not say a single word to me through the entire appointment.
He drilled holes in my molars, and did not fill them correctly (if at all), which then caused my molar to BREAK IN HALF!
My boyfriend, and three of my friends have all had DISTURBINGLY similar experiences with him. They also received DAMAGE instead of help, from Dr. Ahn. I have also received messages

Dr Ahn is truly an artist of teeth. I never had any other dentist give me fillings or anything tooth related, in the natural shape of my teeth. Native American ppl can have a deep scoop behind their front teeth. I have that deep scoop shape to my teeth. Dr. Ahn created this for me when he began to repair my teeth. I knew he was the dentist for me when he created my natural slopes/scoops. Thanks Doc! You're the best.

I've never had a "dentist" ( he's a DMD) scratch away actual tooth before, I've also never had a "dentist" say they needed to numb my teeth for a Cleaning before, because they're too sensitive, Normally it's just my back teeth that are sensitive, I was pulling away because it hurt a lot, he kept going back to the sensitive teeth to clean more, even after seeing my reaction..Also my lip was lightly raw&red from a piercing when I went in, which was visually bypassed, because the dentist was pulling on my lip rather rough, ignoring previous irritation. They had me sign paperwork without reading it

My partner went in here for a simple cleaning a while back, the dentist left permanent scratch marks on her teeth, chipping off bits of enamel. Now it is painful for her to eat. Thanks. Maybe spend less time watching television while working on people’s mouths? These are actual human beings youre supposed to be helping, show some empathy. Also the secretary is very rude and impatient - she wouldnt let my partner read the agreement paper she wanted her to sign before her appointment started. What a joke. Pretty shady here. If you want an actual dentist instead of a general practitioner, go elsewhere

I have been a patient for over 10 years and Dr Ahn has always provided me a fantastic service. He puts his patients over profits. He is always trying to help me to lower my dental bills by providing with quality and economic debts treatment options. I completely trust him as a patient as well as a person. He is wonderful and caring person. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
