We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. Southern Kern Veterinary Clinic, Inc., is fully equipped to perform most surgical procedures. Prior to each procedure, every patient receives a thorough physical examination and laboratory blood testing to check on overall health and identify any anesthetic risks. We perform a variety of surgical procedures ranging from routine spays and neuters to advanced soft tissue surgery.

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available.

Dr. Stephanie Darrow began practicing at Southern Kern Veterinary Clinic, Inc. in 2009. She graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Prior to moving to the Antelope Valley, she was a large animal veterinarian in northern California, where she treated horses, goats, sheep, as well as llamas and alpacas.
