My husband and I recently dined at DeWolf Tavern, enjoying the Tandoor Roasted Chicken and Lobster. Will you explain what a Tandoor Oven is? Many Thanks! The Tandoor oven is cylindrical and heated with charwood (not briquettes). It reaches temperatures up to 900 degrees - immediately searing the food exterior and maintaining the natural juices which enhance all flavors.
