The Remy
Ultra-equipped, finely appointed, meticulously kept apartments in Lanham, Maryland's new Harkins District. Right by the New Carrollton Metro. Apartments available now with more apartments and a doubling of amenities coming early next year. We like to think our community sets the stage. That's not bragging so much as relishing.

The Remy is an experience all its own, where entertainment-packed amenities, feature-rich residences and unparalleled conveniences merge to present a community brimming with specialness. We credit our residents. They credit The Remy. A clean and luxurious apartment. With the help of one of the ambassadors, Vee, my leasing and moving-in processes went very smoothly with no hassle.
Services
New Carrollton's finest apartments were designed to make an impression that lasts. Open floor plans are finely appointed, leaving a lot to your imagination-as it should be. Every detail was carefully considered and we imagine you'll do the same while making it yours. While The Remy's perks and personality are hard to top, we know our resident's apartments are where they truly shine.
The Remy in Lanham, Maryland is a vision of connectivity in every way imaginable. At the nexus of uncompromising access, a vibrant social scene and abundant shopping and dining is an apartment community as big on energy as it is convenience. Harkins District, The Remy's micro-neighborhood, is becoming the envy of Prince George's County.
The Remy has received much recognition for two reasons. First, our commitment to every aspect of the community experience. Second, and most important, our residents' enthusiasm for where they live and all it awards them-our true measure of success and the ultimate reward. A clean and luxurious apartment.

Been here for a few months now. I absolutely love the experience! For one everything is convenient which makes trips to the store quick and efficient. Having the metro across the street is a life saver as well and I am looking forward to see what they do with the new additions! Riley was my leasing specialist when I first began looking and she was a DREAM to work with, extremely prompt, friendly and very informative on all the information regarding the apartment itself, getting my stuff settled and making move in a smooth transition, the community events hosted here are absolutely lovely. The Staff here are a pain. They have this new building manager who is extremely disrespectful and judgmental just like what other reviewers stated. My mother rents here and she complains about the lack of respect for handicap. As you can see, the monthly rent is over $1800 and there is nothing to assist the handicap no automatic doors or anything besides the elevator and two front spots. But there are double sets of doors that are manually operated and the desk folk (whose never there) won't even get up to help. Shame the way they do folks. They once had a woman who was a sweetheart but she's been

Pretty great experience with The Remy so far. Extremely helpful staff, respectful/ nice neighbors, and a great Military monthly discount. Literally right off MD 50/495, takes about 15-20 minutes to arrive to Joint Base Andrews. Highly recommend to Military.

I will not be moving back here. During my stay here for one we witnessed one of the office managers Jaime get drunk during a party event here and got on top of the table until the police was called. Very unprofessional. The office also stereotyped a couple of my family members that came to visit me for simply wearing hoodies. Even after I buzzed them In the building. Very bias and disrespectful. Will not be renewing my lease here. This is unprofessional and the management team sucks and very sarcastic. And Deine is also rude and can be very demanding. Literally Everytime I see her I choose to go

The community is beautiful, and the amenities are lovely. Rooftop is an excellent addition and adds a lot of value to the experience. Rooftop never has soap, and sinks probably need to be replaced, but overall great. I never hear my neighbors, so the soundproofing is excellent compared to my last apartment in DC. You will fall in love with the community based off of the amenities.
On to the bad, you can tell the developers focused more on the community than the actual apartments. The interior of the apartment is basic. White cabinets, lower-end appliances, utility closet in the apartment which

Lived here for 13 months and there is a lot to comment on. Be advised it looks really pretty, they have this nice design lobby, rooftop, pool, lounge and so on..

However, first let's discuss the security of the building or better put the lack of security of the building. They will tell you "oh, we have an officer who lives on-site and is always on call. Officer Worton" and they leave an unattended police car parked at the base of the parking garage... it doesn't matter because anyone can walk up to the garden area, pool area, parking garage and can easily get into the building

Update
My main concern was security which I voiced to management including all my other concerns
Since then they have hired a security firm which patrols the building and grounds at night. I've met so far 2 of the security agents which also have license to carry guns. I feel much safer.
Why not 5star? Because there's always improvement and also during summertime even covid summer 2020 there were parties thrown almost weekly with many outsiders coming in (with no masks). So curious how this will be handled as nice weather is around the corner.

The community is pretty new, and has quite a few worth while amenities to explore if you're interested. The grounds are kept well, and the neighborhood overall isn't terrible. The Remy is situated in an area that is shared with a few government/private sector buildings & there's not much for a 'scenic view' given that- however, the public spaces in/atop the building more than make-up for the small detractions of its placement. There are also newer-apartments associated with the complex that are currently in development- these plan to be even more luxurious than their predecessors. With time, the

TLDR: Move here, they do a great job. It's pricey, but it's worth it.

This is my second time around living at the Remy. The reason I moved the first time was to save some money and went to a value property nearby. Big mistake. You really do get what you pay for.

Thankfully, the Remy welcomed me back with open arms and I've grown an even better appreciation for this community. They do a great job keeping it clean. The amenities are gorgeous! Everyone that comes to visit me thinks it is a resort.

I actually appreciate it is not in DC, but it's close enough to go hang in

1. There is no such thing as the "Harkins District". That's LiveBe/The Remy's attempt to rebrand the existing New Carrollton & Lanham area they're also trying to gentrify.

2. Average cost of a one bedroom apartment:
- Lanham, Maryland: $1,550;
- Washington, DC: $2,234
- Cheapest at The Remy: $1565
- Average at The Remy: $1864

Treat yourself to the convenience of the city for that price. This is where DC's gentrification and Maryland's resistance collide. Been here almost since opening and have finally had enough.

Moved here recently and have found my new location , in Lanham, very satisfying. Living in the Remy apartments has also contributed to my overall good impression of the community. The housing complex is a state of the art facility with beautiful apartments in a modern environment. Although I sometimes do miss New York,
I am looking forward to a more favorable Winter free of severe cold weather and huge snow storms. I love my location here in the Remy apartments because in addition to the fine well designed, bright
apartment, it is near all the stores and resources I require for my general needs

I have really enjoyed this apartment complex, just wish it was in a better location. The facilities here are wonderful, the maintenance team always comes to address issues the day I submit a request, and I have never heard my neighbors. There are regular community events, and residents are friendly and courteous. The complex also offers a shuttle to and from the Metro, which is super convenient during the work week. Overall, would recommend this apartment!

In the middle of the night, a young man attempts to break into the pool setting the alarm off at 3-3:30 am. As this happens often, we all don't say anything.

Around 5 am the same alarm goes off again, this time with the same young man is back. This time with a metal stick, vandelising the entire pool side. Hitting chairs, pushing them over, destroying any piece of furniture. Residents yell at him to leave as it upsets him more he attempts to use his lighter to set a wooden table on fire. Realizing it will take too long. He attempts breaks into the same side apartment twice- people lived

2 things in a span of 2 weeks:

1. Keypad: it was so easy and convenient for residents to access their doors to get inside their apartment by pressing their passcode in. people enjoyed this until they switched out the pad with a fod key. Now, people have to remember to bring their fod key with them or they will be locked out.

2. Parking - parking was free - now a monopoly:
the parking garage had spots marked in 2 categories: resident parking ($60/80) or Unmarked. the garage is completely packed during weekdays from people using the METRO and working in the IRS. but at night, it is spacious. residents

This complex has added a new dimension to the area of New Carrollton and it's called The Remy. This luxury apartment has the best and most friendly staff to help making your transition to moving in as best as possible. The Remy is very pet friendly, that has a dog park and pet spa. This is the perfect place for those that work from home. They have Wifi throughout the building, computers for the telecommuters, conference room, 2 club rooms, game room, theater room, gym that's fully equipped with the latest gear, salt water pool, 2 court yards, 2 grilling areas, a connected parking garage
