My Chicago acupuncture practice is based on the most essential belief in Chinese Medicine - balance. Whether you are experiencing a chronic problem, a recent injury or want to achieve optimal health, restoring balance is the key to your well-being. In a warm, inviting setting, you will feel comfortable. I encourage questions; I bring knowledge and compassion to my work. Using acupuncture and herbal medicine I will create a specific treatment designed just for you.

Cupping
Report
Cupping is an ancient technique that involves placing jars on the skin, suctioning out the air and creating a vacuum. The underlying tissue is raised, or sucked, partway into the cup. The purpose of cupping is to enhance circulation, help relieve pain, remove "heat, " and pull toxins from your body's tissues.
Fertility and Chinese Medicine
Report
Chinese Medicine has always addressed gynecological problems. Since the 1950's, we have increasingly seen it combined with Western Medicine. In the two articles below, I discuss fertility from a Chinese Medicine perspective as well as how to combine it with conventional Western practices.
I often write about fertility on my blog; for the most up-to-date information on Chinese Medicine and Fertility, please visit my blog page and search under that topic.

Online Consultations for Women With Vulvodynia
Report
Offering online consultations to women dealing with Vulvodynia, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and other types of Vulvar pain. In my Chicago office, I have successfully treated women with Chinese Medicine which includes acupuncture, herbs, lifestyle and dietary suggestions. I've had women reach out to me from other states in the U.S. as well as internationally, which is why I started this online program.
Insurance
Report
Many insurance companies are now covering acupuncture. The best way to determine whether your carrier covers acupuncture treatment, is to call them directly. In all cases, you will pay for your treatment and receive a receipt that you send to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you are not covered by insurance, you can still consider your payments as medical expenses that you may be able to write off on your taxes.
