Core Massage Therapy

Our Core Massage Therapy program provides foundational skills for aspiring massage therapists. Students learn Eastern and Western techniques, anatomy, and business practices through hands-on training. Graduates gain the expertise to work in spas, wellness centers, or private practice while meeting national certification standards.

Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy

This advanced program focuses on neuromuscular techniques for pain management and rehabilitation. Designed for experienced therapists, it includes functional anatomy studies and collaboration with healthcare professionals. The hybrid format combines online learning with on-campus practical instruction to enhance clinical reasoning skills.

Student Massage Clinic

Our supervised student clinics offer affordable massage services to the community while providing real-world experience. Clients receive Swedish or Shiatsu sessions performed by students under professional guidance. This practical training helps students develop skills in client assessment and treatment delivery.

Continuing Education

NCBTMB-approved continuing education courses help licensed therapists expand their expertise. Programs focus on advanced clinical skills, pain management techniques, and specialized modalities. I found National Holistic Institute just scrolling through the FB. My first contact was with a wonderful person while picking up my supplies, and they set a very warm and inviting tone. Although we started online because of the pandemic, the teacher was very warm, and seemed like he liked his job. The students all seemed like people I could get to like. Then, when we came to the first in person class, the campus manager came and set an absolutely wonderful energy going and really made this whole thing seem real. Meeting my teacher in person, I found one of the most wonderful mentors I have ever

I've enjoyed many massages for over 16 yrs @ NHI. Excellent students share their knowledge while continuing to learn. Clean & safe. You cannot request a person or style of massage, you get what they're currently studying. Enjoy the massages

It was early in the pandemic that I decided to attend NHI. Everything was online at that point, and honestly, I wasnt sure what to expect from learning a hands on modality without a hands on experience. But, I can tell you with a full heart, that it was the BEST choice I could have made, and my experience went above and beyond anything I could have expected. Each and every teacher gave 110% to help us digest the content, and get a deep understanding for both the physical techniques and the intention behind the techniques that turn the mechanical into something truly holistic and healing.

Since attending NHI, I Have learned more about the importance of how are muscles play a big part in how are body moves, and how we feel on a day to day emotionally drive. I know see how I can give back to my community and help those with just a simple massage. I feel more confident knowing how I can help with those in need. If I had to choose a Massage Therapy school NHI would be it, NHI has the best and one of the strongest Support channels with mentors instructors to help you as a student succeed in your goals as a massage therapist. Being at NHI has been a tremendous opportunity to enhance my massage therapy skills. The content and modules have allowed my knowledge of the field to grow in ways I didnt know were possible! As a blind individual from Camden, New Jersey, I learned about this amazing hands-on learning opportunity and moved to Oakland to pursue my passion which is Massage Therapy so I could advance in the field. We all need healing and massage is a perfect way to get and stay in tuned with our bodies. I am grateful for the current connections Ive made thus far and look forward to building new relationships

Visiting NHI was amazing! I was blown away by the warm and friendly staff, the clean and inviting space, as well as the active and engaged students. The campus location and scenery is very peaceful. The National Holistic Institute was a great place to visit and seems to be an even better home to receive a quality education!
