Services
Our management fee is a bit higher than other property managers in the area. There are a few reasons for this. We have an excellent reputation with both cities - Champaign & Urbana - and the Tenant Union. We use independent contractors instead of employees for maintenance, so your property is not responsible for keeping them busy 40 hours a week.
While many other real estate offices shuffle you from agent to agent, your initial agent will stay with you from start to finish. We incorporate many of the supports aspects of a team, while also understanding that you want one point-of-contact to build a rapport with. Our office doubles as a real estate agency and a property management firm, so we understand priorities for both homebuyers and investors.

To start, as soon as I let Weiner Co. know I wouldn't be renewing my lease earlier this year, they BOMBARDED my house with showings, in the middle of a pandemic, even after I let them know I have a high risk of developing complications from COVID. They simply didn't care, and treated me and my roommates--one of them being a disabled veteran--like trash the moment they realized we wouldn't be renewing.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would.
Months prior to moving in, the first thing we asked this company was if it was okay to move six people into an apLartment. They blatantly told us yes to our faces. During the showing, not only did they show us the wrong apartment, they saw that there were five of us there. They also liPed to us and said that every apartment came with full size beds, and when we moved in, we were met with twin-sized beds. upon moving in, and after we paid our pet deposit, the security deposit, and the first month's rent, we got a call, the day after we moved in

Absolutely awful! Treated my friend with horrible service! He is a disabled veteran who is currently in a wheelchair from multiple surgeries. They won’t even give him a livable place. The house he is renting is literally falling apart and they demand full rent while doing nothing about it!

Amazing leasing company, especially for UIUC students!
Have leased with Weiner for 3+ years now in different properties and have never had a problem with them. Maintenance requests are carried out timely and effectively. Weiner also has several leasing properties across campus that are well-maintained and at a way less cost than other agencies in the area.
Weiner Companies is sincerely the best option for anyone living in, or moving into the Champaign-Urbana area.

Loved my experience with them. Renting in Champaign is always a little sketchy on service, but we had no problems. It wasn't spotless when we moved in, but they let us move in early. When we didn't get our full deposit back, they were able to correct it and give us what we deserved. And they were always pretty quick to repair things. They were also one of the few places in town with ANY pet friendly apartments. Would recommend!

Noticed that Weiner Companies had the most attractive properties and ease of use per their website. At the Time "702 S Sunny LN" was available, so scheduled a time/date to come view since I didn't live in the area as of yet. Being from out of town and trying to find a good area to live can be a task that has to be decided within a day or hours.
Male Agent from Weiner showed up and allowed us to view the "702 S Sunny LN" property. Property was still needing a thorough cleaning and wasn't impressed.....so we continued on our quest to look throughout the

I am a long time tenant with Weiner Companies and have rented multiple different properties from them throughout the years. I have had experiences with other management companies within the Champaign-Urbana area and continue to hold WC with the highest regard! Their properties are well maintained and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are always courteous and quick to respond to any questions or maintenance concerns.
